Support Jetta FosburgWomen and Adversity: Jetta Fosburg reacts to bullying

It’s hard to believe that a 10-year-old girl has to defend herself against other kids who criticize, basically bully, her because she cut her hair. She decided to donate 14-inches of her hair to Wigs for Kids, a noble reason. Even if she didn’t want to donate her hair, let’s say she wanted shorter hair. She shouldn’t be criticized.

Let’s accept people’s decisions, not criticize them. I admire her and her mother for setting up a Facebook page to counter bullying. Check this out:https://www.facebook.com/pages/Stand-With-Jetta/861357587249282?sk=timeline&ref=page_internal.

You have my support, Jetta. Congratulations. You’re a heroine.

I published three ebooks in 2020: Women and Adversity, Honoring 23 Black Women; Women and Adversity, Recognizing 23 Notable Mothers; and Women and Adversity, Saluting 23 Faithful Suffragists to commemorate the hundredth anniversary of the passage of the 19th Amendment giving women the right to vote. These books are meant to be study guides for all students from grade school through college to help in choosing topics for assignments and to learn more about these noteworthy women.
